fawn hill!

fawn hill is so full of absolutely lovely flowers more to come !
ps i have no idea why that sentence turned blue

I have been with grandma less than three days yet I already have three blisters.

today aunt Cindy called while we were washing windows . I told her we had washed all the windows int he house she said she had done that with grandma before I told Cindy that she was a strong woman.

Im staying in Cindy's old room which looks so different with out her things in it i hope she doesnt care that I put all my stuff in her closet

grandma and I are going to the Renaissance fair isnt that a great Idea its called cains crossings and looks pretty big I think I will go as a fairy if mom cant mail me my costume I would love to see grandma wearing my old sliver brocade and gray cape wouldn't that be something

I love flowers so here is a little thought

This morning the green fists of the peonies are getting ready
to break my heart
as the sun rises,
as the sun strokes them with his old, buttery fingers

and they open —
pools of lace,
white and pink —
and all day the black ants climb over them,

boring their deep and mysterious holes
into the curls,
craving the sweet sap,
taking it away

to their dark, underground cities —
and all day
under the shifty wind,
as in a dance to the great wedding,

the flowers bend their bright bodies,
and tip their fragrance to the air,
and rise,
their red stems holding

all that dampness and recklessness
gladly and lightly,
and there it is again —
beauty the brave, the exemplary,

blazing open.
Do you love this world?
Do you cherish your humble and silky life?
Do you adore the green grass, with its terror beneath?

Do you also hurry, half-dressed and barefoot, into the garden,
and softly,
and exclaiming of their dearness,
fill your arms with the white and pink flowers,
